Some school bus routes across the GTA have been suspended for the day due to inclement weather conditions on the road, but classes will go ahead.
After a rare three-day sunshine streak, the GTA is once again waking up to a messy mix of winter weather.
Drivers are being advised to slow down behind the wheel, especially during rush hour traffic as highways and roads may be slippery. School boards across the GTA have cancelled morning and afternoon bus services for some zones due to “inclement weather conditions” on the road.Buses running north of Steeles Avenue in Acton and Georgetown along Halton Region have been cancelled for the day.
Buses to St. Andrew, St. Peter, St. Benedict and RF Hall schools in the Dufferin county and Peel region have been halted for the day. Localized delays are expected along the roadway for some bus routes.
