The Seattle Kraken comeback from two goals down in the third period to defeat the Calgary Flames 5\u002D4.
Prior to Tuesday’s tango, it had been nearly three years since the Tanev brothers — Chris is a steady defenceman for the Flames, while Brandon is a ball-of-energy forward for the Kraken — last squared off on NHL ice.
“We’re very competitive,” Chris said after morning skate at the Saddledome. “I’m the big brother, so I don’t want to lose to little brother and he doesn’t want to lose to big brother. I think that’s how we are with everything in life — we compete to beat each other, whether it’s at the gym or on the golf course or on the track. Tonight is going to be no different.”
