Former Stampeders linebackers Alex Singleton is cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
“I mean, I can’t cheer for the Chiefs,” Singleton said Friday, rightly pointing out that he wasn’t about to root for an AFC West rival. He’s a Denver Bronco, after all.
He’s good friends with Jason Kelce, and said he “gives them s— for stuff they talk about on their podcast” all the time. He’s been texting back-and-forth with a lot of the Eagles as they’ve been preparing for the big game this week.Singleton just wants to see his friends thrive. “I want them to win and I want them to be great,” Singleton said. “But I don’t need to be any part of it.
