Check out the works of David Milne and creative local kids, AGS’ permanent collection and an exhibit about the Budd Car
Gallery One features “Blazes Along the Trail’: Exploring David Milne’s Imaginative Vision,” a new major exhibition of works by David Milne, circulated by Art Windsor-Essex and curated by Christopher Finn.
This exhibition presents a selection of works from core areas of Milne’s artistic practice in oil painting, watercolour, and dry-point prints. You can catch the exhibition until March 19. There are three other exhibitions showing at the Art Gallery of Sudbury concurrently with this exhibition: “The Spaces In-Between” , “Frank M. Stark: The Budd Car Train from Sudbury to White River” , and “Creative Kids” .
The gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Holiday closures for the gallery are as follows: closed Sunday, Dec. 25 – Tuesday, Dec. 27, open Wednesday, Dec. 28 – Saturday, Dec. 31, and closed Sunday, Jan. 1 – Monday, Jan. 2. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
