Nickel Belt MP highlights a number of items from the budget including grocery rebates, health care and the clean economy

Nickel Belt MP Marc G. Serré has said in a news release that the 2023 federal budget “will directly benefit residents in Nickel Belt Greater Sudbury.”

Serré also highlighted government efforts “to crack down on junk fees and predatory lending, and lower credit card transaction fees for small businesses.” In terms of health care, Serré pointed to the budget’s $198.3 billion, to reduce backlogs, expand access to family health services, and ensure provinces and territories can provide high-quality and timely health care. He highlighted the new Canadian Dental Care Plan, which will benefit up to nine million Canadians.
