The parole board revoked Samuel Clements Green’s statutory release at a recent hearing.
Samuel Clements Green. - - ContributedA serial rapist Halifax police warned the public about last December is back behind bars after he was discovered hiding pictures of women's heads that appeared to have been cut out of a magazine.“Your inability to control your sexual urges demonstrates to the board that your risk has elevated to the point where it is no longer manageable in the community,” said Green’s parole decision.last Dec. 9 that the “high-risk offender” was living here.
“You denied thinking about your offences while doing so, and you stated you did not believe this increased your risk factors or represented a return to your offence cycle. You said that if you did not already have these images, you would not have attempted to obtain other pictures while in the community.”“You indicated you feel it was a misunderstanding and expressed regret for your actions,” said the parole board.
“At sentencing, the judge commented that in committing the sexual assaults, you appeared to have targeted that specific location and type of vulnerable victim,” said Green’s parole decision.On top of his prison sentence, the judge issued a long-term supervision order of eight years. It ordered him to live in a community correctional centre, a federally operated facility with 24-hour supervision.
