THUNDER BAY — A school bus driver has been charged with a red light violation after a collision last week.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon at Van Norman Street and High Street North, involving a school bus and a passenger vehicle. A police spokesperson said bus was travelling westbound on Van Norman Street when it failed to stop for the red light, colliding with the southbound passenger vehicle. The spokesperson said there were children onboard the bus, but no serious injuries were reported. Both vehicles were damaged and required a tow.
