BREAKING Sandeson found guilty of second-degree murder | SaltWire

Sandeson, who was about to start medical school, testified he never meant to harm Samson when they met to do business that night. He said he only fired his weapon after Samson twice tried to get it away from him during an argument over how much he was going to pay for the drugs. Sandeson said he wrapped Samson’s body in garbage bags, put it in a duffel bag that had contained the drugs and carried it to his car.

Prosecutors allege Sandeson, who was working three part-time jobs and selling drugs, was under mounting financial pressure in the summer of 2015. They said he killed Samson for the drugs so he could pay off a $78,000 debt he had run up on a line of credit.
