Not a bad 24 hours for Bobby McMann. After he earned AHL player\u002Dof\u002Dthe\u002Dweek honours with the Toronto Marlies on Monday, McMann got a call.
“Getting in with the group right now and no decisions have been made, but I’ll be ready if one is made,” McMann said.
“He is player we really like,” Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe said. “It seems like he has hit the ground running and has really found his game. “It’s part of the grind. Some guys’ paths are different than others. I’m thankful to get into this organization. They have put their trust in me and tried to develop me and give me every opportunity to succeed.”While it may appear that the Boston Bruins have first place in the Atlantic Division locked up, the Leafs know they can’t look at it that way, certainly not with 41 games remaining.
