THUNDER BAY – Raag-Rung Music Circle presented a total of $15,000 to the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, Lakehead University and Confederation College after a successful return of its 39th Annual Fundraising Evening of Fabulous Food and Marvelous Music which was held on September 16.
The annual fundraising event has been held since 1983 where it started with concerts held in a director’s basement. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Raag-Rung says it was not able to hold the event for the past two years, in keeping the safety of all patrons in mind, but now the event is back and has raised $15,000 with will be split evenly between the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, Lakehead University and Confederation College.
