A video on TikTok has gone viral of a cute little baby panda in the midst of escaping its enclosure. Did this really happen?
The 58-second video, which has already garnered more than 100,000 likes, shows a baby panda in Zoo Negara clambering up the side of its enclosure.
With the"Mission Impossible" theme playing, the panda slowly makes its way up one of the corners of its enclosure and actually makes it right to the top. Just before it can make its way over so it can get its own"Shawshank Redemption" moment, one of its keepers walks up the fence with a ladder and gently pushes it back down again.
While its escape could be considered worthy of a movie of its own, the baby panda's actions were most likely motivated by curiosity and an eagerness to flex its budding climbing muscles rather than a desire to break free.
