The company’s owner had said two of the missing people were employees and the third was a subcontractor. Authorities have been searching the site since Jan. 12, when an explosion and fire engulfed the building not long after 11 a.m.The local fire department received calls last Thursday morning about an explosion and fire at Propane Lafortune, but the risk of further explosions forced firefighters to retreat and they were only able to bring the fire under control in the evening.

The company says it is the first time in the company’s 60 years they have experienced such an ordeal and they are co-operating with authorities.
