JEREMY FRASER/CAPE BRETON POST.SYDNEY, N.S. – The Cape Breton Eagles comeback fell short to the Gatineau Olympiques in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action at Centre 200 in Sydney on Thursday.
Colin Ratt, Charles-Antoine Pilote, Cole Cormier and Donovan Arsenault netted goals for the Olympiques.Gatineau’s Ty Austin made 23 saves. Cape Breton’s Oliver Satny stopped 31 of 35 shots.The Olympiques opened the scoring at 6:11 of the first period with Ratt netting his fourth of the season, before Pilote notched his first over the year, and Cormer buried his 18th of the campaign, and Arsenault rounded out the scoring in the period for the visitors.
