According to the province, the partnership arose from work being done by the Edmonton Public Safety and Community Response Task Force.Article content In an email, the press secretary to Public Safety and Emergency Services Minister Mike Ellis said Calgary’s task force is working to find local solutions to address the complex issues of addiction, homelessness and public safety. It said further details would be released “once the task force finalizes a plan that fits Calgary’s needs.”
