The City of Belleville’s Planning Committee is asking staff for a recommendation report on a proposed subdivision east of Wilson Avenue.A presentation was outlined to the committee by Kevin Bechard of Innovative Planning Solutions, the agent for the project.Multiple members of the public expressed their support for the project.
“I’m absolutely floored that this property has not been developed before this.” resident Bob Scott told the committee. “We’d like to see that development happen as quick as possible. I think it’s good for the city. I think it’s good for the tax element of things and we need this town to grow.”“Is there an entrance way off of Palmer to this new subdivision because you’re going to need traffic lights at Palmer and Moira with the increased amount of traffic.” resident William Noble asked committee.
