Prince George-Opoly is based on Monopoly and features many Prince George locations and landmarks.
Outset Media has launched Prince George-Opoly, a board game based on the best-selling game Monopoly.
Players compete to buy up iconic Prince George locations like Mr. PG, Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, The Exploration Place, CN Centre and UNBC, and be the first to bankrupt their friends. Canadian-owned Outset Media partnered with Walmart Canada to distribute the limited-edition board game. The game is available at Walmart in Prince George and was expected to be available online at Walmart.ca.
“Outset Media is excited to help families across Canada celebrate where they live. These games were created to help people appreciate some things they cherish about their community,” Outset Media senior vice-president Jean-Paul Teskey said. “The support communities across Canada have given these games made it possible for Outset Media to add dozens of additional cities and towns in brand new games released throughout 2022.
