“Gina is a firecracker. It was so awesome to get to play her. In some ways, on paper, she looked really mean and she was the leader of this mean-girls group. But the more we explored, and the more we worked with her, it was like ‘I think she really does have this heart of gold. She truly feels she’s doing good for people.’ That was a really nice spin to what could have been just mean-girl all-around.”"The performances are great, the female coworkers are certainly the stuff of nightmares.
“It was incredible for me to play that character. It was the exact opposite of me, and it was going against type,” she said. “I think a lot of people think ‘oh, Kylee plays the girl next door, or the ingenue, or the pretty blonde, and in this movie, I am none of those things. It was a thrill. She’s unhinged and I’m excited for everyone to see that side of me.”
“I just did an audio series called Mistletoe Murders with Cobie Smulders. I play, again, kind of an evil girl. That’s available on Audible.” We know what she likes to do in front of the camera, but what about behind it? Any thoughts of directing?
