Saanich Police say a child is suffering non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a driver near Mount Douglas Park Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on Shelbourne Street at San Juan Avenue, prompting police to close the road in both directions as they investigated the scene and asked other commuters to avoid the area.
