The charge stems from complaint about a Nov. 8 news story. Police began investigating on Nov. 14, leading to Jesara Sinclair being charged with disobeying an order of the court. "Publication bans are court orders put in place by a judge," noted P.E.I. RCMP media relations officer Const. Gavin Moore. "Their purpose is to protect the identity of the victims of crime.
