The Ottawa 67’s shook off a 3\u002D2 overtime loss in Barrie, a night ago, earning a 4\u002D1 road win over the Niagara IceDogs, Friday night.

The 67’s found themselves on the powerplay a little over five minutes later, and after cycling the puck around, Beck walked in from the top of the circle, and rifled home his third of the campaign. The numbers game continued, as 23 seconds after the 67’s took a 2-0 lead, it was number 23 Gerrior blocking a shot to break up an offensive chance, and on the counterattack, Dever made a gorgeous drop pass to set up Gerrior, for a 3-0 advantage. Niagara answered back within a minute, thanks to Daniel Michaud, but Dever converted on a Tolnai pass before the period was out, and the 67’s led 4-1 going into the third.

Both teams had their share of chances in the third, but neither could find the twine, and Donoso secured the win for the Barber Poles.• Cameron Tolnai is the first member of the 67’s to hit 40 points this season, and now has 41.• Will Gerrior now has three goals in his last four games.• Jack Beck has three points in two games since returning from injury, Thursday.
