We need big-picture thinkers, who can skillfully navigate the complexities of layers of government and business.
Mitzie’s experience as CEO of CivicAction adds to her municipal bona fides; she has both the knowledge and relationships to address the challenges facing not just Toronto proper but the entire Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Yes, I know the Mayor of Toronto only has jurisdiction within the city’s boundaries, but the position clearly has much broader influence, so we need a mayor who can skillfully navigate across governmental borders.
