One person was found deceased at the scene of a Port Alberni apartment fire when crews arrived to respond, according to the city.

Port Alberni RCMP are investigating after a person was found deceased at an apartment fire on 4th Avenue Thursday night. When crews arrived on scene, they found one deceased person, whose identity is not being released at this time while the investigation unfolds.
