One dead in Deerfoot single-vehicle crash yyc

The car then drove onto the snowbank and rolled down an embankment towards Anderson Road, police said. A man in the passenger seat who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt was ejected from the vehicle in the crash, as the SUV continued to roll down the embankment before coming to a stop on its passenger side. Emergency crews pronounced the man dead at the scene. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt during the crash, was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police said witnesses reported the vehicle was weaving in and out of traffic prior to the crash. No charges have been laid, but the police traffic section is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
