The release says two officers later encountered the man with a firearm outside a home on Little Pine First Nation, and their response “involved the discharge of a firearm and the man was injured.”The release says no police officers were injured and a firearm was located at the scene. Saskatchewan RCMP say the Saskatoon Police Service and the Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team will investigate the incident.
The RCMP says it has also requested the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General appoint independent investigation observers, including one Indigenous observer.Share this article in your social network
