NSW students and teachers will be provided rapid antigen tests twice a week and masks will be compulsory for all high school students under Premier Dominic Perrottet's return-to-school plan.
Premier Dominic Perrottet is set to unveil the plans on Sunday as more than six million RATs, air purifiers and face masks are being transported to a stockpile in western Sydney.
"There's no doubt there are going to be challenges as we open schools, the alternative is to keep schools closed," he said. "Most parents will want to take their child to receive a vaccination at a GP or pharmacist but our centres are there to provide that extra assistance and there are bookings available," he said.
