The Nova Scotia rink of Manuel, third Luke Saunders, second Jeffrey Meagher and lead Nick Zachernuk dropped into a three-way tie for fourth spot in Pool A at 2-2, while Dunstone holds second at 4-0, just behind Alberta's Kevin Koe at 5-0.The Manuel rink scored three in the fifth end for a 4-3 lead, but Dunstone had an open hit for three in the sixth end and a 6-4 lead. Steals of one in the seventh and ninth for Manitoba led to the Nova Scotians shaking hands.
The Halifax Curling Club rink was back in action in the afternoon draw against Saskatchewan, also at 2-2.
