Dartmouth's Matthew Highmore is back in the NHL. The St. Louis Blues recalled the 26-year-old forward from the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds on Saturday.

He appeared in Sunday's game against the Ottawa Senators.
"He's just a hard worker," Blues head coach Craig Berube said about Highmore during a media session."I remember him from camp. He's a straight-line player, can kill penalties and he's going to give you the effort that you need." This is Highmore's first stint with the Blues. He broke into the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks. He has 27 points in 137 career NHL games.
