The MacIsaac rink that includes third Nathan Gray, second Owain Fisher and lead Christopher McCurdy took a 5-2 lead into the 10th end, but were unable to nail down the win. Nova Scotia shares top spot in Pool B at 6-1 with Alberta's Johnson Tao. The MacIsaac crew wrapped up round robin play on Friday night against New Brunswick.
On the girls' side, Nova Scotia No.1 Sophie Blades rink dropped to 5-2 after a 10-8 loss to unbeaten Mackenzie Mitchell of Newfoundland and Labrador on Friday. The Blades rink surrendered four in the ninth end in the setback. Mitchell leads Pool A at 7-0 while Ontario's Tory Zemmelink is next at 5-1. Blades, third Kate Weissent, second Stephanie Atherton and lead Alexis Cluney are third at 5-2.
