United Way is accepting applications and will distribute an estimated $1.2 million in Community Services Recovery Fund dollars across Northern Ontario
Applications are now being accepted for the federal Community Services Recovery Fund through United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario .
“We have seen the effects of the pandemic on our community organizations and the increased need for services,” said Mary Lou Hussak, Executive Director at United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario. “We are privileged to help facilitate the distribution of the Community Services Recovery Fund alongside Canadian Red Cross and the Community Foundations of Canada and support pandemic recovery in North East Ontario.
