THUNDER BAY – Colby Feist scored three times on Saturday night as the Thunder Bay North Stars continued their winning ways in Fort Frances.
The first-year North Stars forward had the final goal of a four-goal first, then added to more in a three-goal third as Thunder Bay romped to a 9-0 win over the host Lakers on Saturday night, goaltender Conner Lemieux posting a 22-save shutout.Jamie Fuchs, Matthew Halushak, Noah Broughton, E.J. Paddington, with his second in as many nights, Easton Glousher and Edison Weeks also scored for Thunder Bay , who moved into a third-place tie with Dryden , who edged Sioux Lookout 4-3 on Saturday night.
In other SIJHL action, Aidan Balance scored 1:47 into overtime to lead the second-place Red Lake Miners to a high-scoring 9-8 win in overtime over the Wisconsin Lumberjacks. Salvatore Poggiali had a four-point night for Wisconsin, while Dobie Unrau, Kyle Schechtel and Allance had two apiece for Red Lake .
