A new immersive art experience is coming to Vancouver. This time, the subject of the exhibition will be renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.

Presented in collaboration between the Frida Kahlo Corporation and Layers of Reality, a Spain-based digital arts centre, the exhibition will feature seven “transformational spaces,” including original films, artistic installations, music and an optional virtual reality experience to allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in Kahlo’s work.
“We aim to create a space that portrays Frida Kahlo in an authentic, genuine, and comprehensive manner, incorporating diverse sources of information,” Beatriz Alvarado, CCO and head of global trends for Frida Kahlo Corporation, said in the release. Tickets for the exhibition will be priced from $30-$40, plus applicable taxes and fees and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 4 at
