“We think it’s a record and we feel very fortunate our YMCA has been supported by Tim Horton’s locally for a number of years,” President and CEO David Allen tells Quinte News. “They’ve always been so generous to our local Y and we just we feel privileged and honored that that they chose our charity and they chose the new Center for Life to to make a contribution.”• 2 pools – a traditional lap pool and a new therapy poolA building campaign is underway to raise funds for the new building.
“We’re in that what we call the quiet phase of the campaign so we’re having conversations with business people and leaders in our community. In the last three and a half months we’ve we’ve raised just over 22%. So we’re off to a good start.”
