Mounties on Vancouver Island are hoping the public can help them locate a missing 30-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen in three weeks.The 30-year-old had been living at the Samaritan House in Nanaimo but has contacts throughout central Vancouver Island and Mounties say they don’t know if she is still in the Harbour City.
Const. Gary O’Brien, media relations officer for the Nanaimo RCMP, said in a press release that Larocque had maintained regular contact with her family and for reasons not known, stopped all communication with them after Oct. 20.Sign up for our newsletter to get breaking news and daily digests sent to your email.“For her to do this is out of character, and as a result, her family is concerned for her safety and well-being,” said O’Brien.
