Tanner Scott didn’t leave until an RCMP officer arrived
An RCMP officer was called to a meeting for Nanaimo-Ladysmith school district candidates on Gabriola Island after one candidate showed images of top and bottom surgery.
Scott wrote on his campaign website about the meeting that “I then provided the crowd with an image of a female mastectomy and phalloplasty surgery in order to complete her transition to transgender. The crowd seemed appalled at the site [sic], which was the point.” “And I said: ‘You will have to call the cops because I haven’t done anything wrong. You haven’t told me what I’ve done wrong and I’m trying to have this discussion for trustee candidates and I’ll stay until the police come.’ ”
Candidates were asked to respond yes or no, she said. “Instead of simply saying ‘no’ he chose to engage in this behaviour.”
