Greater Victoria has no snow in the forecast, however — only a chance of rain, says an Environment Canada meteorologist

Two to five centimetres of snow is anticipated Tuesday on some east Vancouver Island and inland locations, from Duncan to Nanaimo and Nanoose Bay to Fanny Bay, as well as the Malahat, after freezing drizzle overnight.

Greater Victoria could escape any snowfall Monday night and see only a chance of drizzle, said an Environment Canada meteorologist.The overnight low is expected to be 1 C, with a high of 4 C on Tuesday, when the capital region can expect more drizzle or rain, Lee said.
