“That particular day, we called our daughter and we decided to split the tickets, so our daughter will receive half the money,” Duffney said. “We will use the reset to pay off our mortgage, which is a big deal for us because we are turning 65 and we wouldn’t be able to keep our mortgage after that. Sheldon Saccary, co-chair of the Hawks Dream Field Society and co-chair of Chase the Ace, is looking forward to the opening events in July and is grateful for the support the project has received from the community so far.Live music and dancing were a part of the events at the Chase the Ace Fundraiser at the Royal Canadian Legion in Dominion on the weekend.
