We apologize, but this video has failed to load.You’d be hard-pressed to count how many times the Trudeau Liberals have made announcements about gun control, sent out fundraising letters, held photo-ops or tried to score political points in the Commons on the issue over the last three years. I can tell you how many gun control bills they’ve passed in that time – none., was introduced on May 30, 2022 – more than two years after their big announcement of a ban.
If the Liberals were serious about following through on their gun control legislation promises, then a bill would have been passed by now. If they were serious, then a credible “buyback” program would be in place, telling the legal and licensed gun owners how they would be compensated for handing their property over to the government.
Yet, gun crime has not gone down because these guns were never the issue. These are not the guns used in the crimes that plague our streets in cities and towns — big and small.Article content
