Liberal MP Francis Scarpaleggia — who represents the West Island riding of Lac-Saint-Louis – said anglophones in Quebec have “legitimate grievances” with aspects of the new provincial language law, but, in his view, bills C-13 and 96 have been “conflated” in the public discourse.
