Reader who lives next door to plant says large orange plume photographed by residents this week 'far from unusual'
SooToday received the following letter to the editor from reader Lester Hopkins in response to our story, Plume of smoke seen coming from plant .These orange clouds are far from unusual. They are a common sight for us residents who live next door to the steel plant.I know that these emissions are part of the process.
However, couldn't the steel plant release these emissions when there is sufficient wind to quickly disperse it?
