As part of a documentary called Other Voices, funded by Telus StoryHive, viewers will see comedians who are Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) share their stories about living in Prince George.
Prince George Indigenous comedian Brian Majore hosts the Just Us Comedy Showcase Friday night at The Firm.
As part of the documentary, after the show audience members have the chance to offer their opinions on camera of what the comedians shared on stage. The show stars Brian Majore, Kylie Lewis Holt, Monita Ranu and Neelam Pahal, with a special guest MC. This is Majore’s first time creating a documentary and with help from his mentor, Denis Paquette, Majore is confident enough to make a switch in his career after 19 years in the comedy scene to documentary filmmaker.
