Tureski testified over two days and told the inquest that he had been called to the site by Claridge foreman Mike Lwow to investigate an incident the previous day in which a worker was struck by falling ice. Tureski said Wednesday that the injury to House was not severe enough to trigger a mandatory investigation and did not meet the criteria for a “reportable” injury.He did issue one citation to a Bellai Brothers site supervisor, Leo Simard, for having an open flame in the company trailer.
