The first batch of stranded Nigerians evacuated from warring Sudan through a Nigerian military jet C-130H arrived in Abuja on Wednesday night. The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) which made this known said the military jet C-130H which conveyed an estimated 376 evacuees arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 11:40 pm on Wednesday night.

The first batch of stranded Nigerians evacuated from warring Sudan through a Nigerian military jet C-130H arrived in Abuja on Wednesday night.The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission which made this known said the military jet C-130H which conveyed an estimated 376 evacuees arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 11:40 pm on Wednesday night.

"Similarly, an Air Peace flight which brought over 270 Nigerian students from the Aswan Airport in Egypt landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja a few moments before the military jet conveying about 80 evacuees arrived.Dabiri-Erewa, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Sadiya Farouk; and the Director General of the National Management Emergency Agency , Ahmed Mustapha, were at the airport to receive the students.
