Virgin Australia customers have been warned to expect delays at airports around the country after its check-in system went down. 9News
"We're experiencing a technical issue with our check-in system at airports across our network," Virgin said in a tweet.Virgin said its ground crew was working to assist travellers arriving at the airport.One customer wrote that passengers had been stuck in the baggage line for "hours".
The incident follows a similar one on April 29, when electronic passport machines broke down in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane airports, causing long delays for international passengers.
