“There’s a really big upper ridge over Alberta right now bringing these warm temperatures in, and it extends all the way to northwestern Mexico,” Rombough said. “Temperatures are well above normal for the forecast here. Normal temperatures for Calgary, the high is only 14 C, so we’re 10 or more degrees above that for most of the days this coming week.”
