The ’80s, with many outrageous tales from Gardens execs Gord and Bob Stellick, frame a devolution of 10 losing regular seasons, sacrificed on a pyre of Ballard’s megalomaniac headlines. Priestley was born in 1969, just when the series of unfortunate boardroom events brought Ballard to power and though raised in Vancouver as a Canucks fan, was intrigued by tales of Pal Hal that drifted West. He jumped at executive producer Michael Geddes’ offer from Lone Eagle Entertainment to come aboard as director/narrator and provide a cradle-to-grave bio of Ballard.Article content
