The Holland Hurricanes earned a win and a tie in Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association soccer action at the Terry Fox Sports Complex on Oct. 12.CORNWALL, P.E.I. — The Holland Hurricanes earned a win and a tie in Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association soccer action at the Terry Fox Sports Complex on Oct. 12.
The Hurricanes defeated the Dalhousie AC Rams 4-2 in women’s action, and the men’s game between the same two schools ended in a scoreless draw. Both Holland College teams are back in action at the Terry Fox Sports Complex on Oct. 15 against the University of King’s College Blue Devils. The women’s game begins at 1 p.m., followed by the men’s contest at 3:15 p.m.Kina Azuma, Emily LePine, Reese Kelly, and Sarah MacVarish scored for the Hurricanes, who improved to 5-2-2 .The Hurricanes led 3-1 at halftime.The Hurricanes’ Keegan MacKinnon and Calum MacLeod of the Rams recorded the clean sheets.
