Burnaby is redeveloping the Mountain Air Bike Skills Course at 8486 Barnet Hwy., hoping to create a “first-class local destination for biking enthusiasts,” according to a press release.
The 15-year-old park will be redesigned, including features such as a drop-in staging area, viewing areas, a BMX section, flow trail and jump line sections and more for a mix of skill levels. The engagement report, which surveyed 60 people at an open house and 737 people online, was taken primarily by mountain bikers , while 23 per cent were local Burnaby residents.
