Are you, Dear Worker, so upset by your employer’s offer that you’re willing to get by on strike pay while you squeeze the employer for more money or benefits?

Were the terminals run by private companies, the loss of income from lower volumes might spark them to up their offer to grain handlers. According to an internal PSAC message to members on April 16, obtained by CTV News, PSAC told its members, “Interruptions in pay would be unlikely, although it is possible. If we take strike action, past practice shows that the employer would likely recover wages paid during the strike after a settlement is reached.”
