.ce_gbcollege and cilt_global have signed an agreement to help students graduating from the Supply Chain Management Program to advance their careers in the logistics and transportation industry.
Through the partnership, in addition to receiving a George Brown certificate, graduates of the online supply chain program qualify to receive the International Diploma in Logistics and Transport offered by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport .
Program participants are also eligible for CILTNA student membership, which provides access to free CILTNA events and a discount on paid events. Graduates who can demonstrate one year of work experience in the logistics or transportation industry are eligible for the working-level CILTNA membership. The global supply chain has been a major area of concern since the beginning of the pandemic, indicates a release, adding as organizations expand their business operations, many are looking for skilled, talented professionals to deal with problems of supply chain management across different products, locations and organizations.
“We are pleased to partner with The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport which is the oldest international transportation and logistics organization in the world,” said Joseph Sirianni, chair of the Technology and Trades, School of Continuing Education at George Brown College, in a statement“The COVID-19 pandemic has directly impacted global supply chains and transport and logistics, and this global accreditation benefits students and increases their employment opportunities.
