Taking a faceoff in the Ottawa zone, Norris fell to the ice after taking the draw with little or no contact, was able to get up, skated to the bench and tossed his stick as he went to the room. It also appeared he kicked something out of frustration. Signed to an eight-year, $63.6 million deal in the off-season, Norris scored his first goal of the season Saturday against the Coyotes at 6:17 of the first period.
